The Southern Commanders Wargame Club was organized in 1988 in Chattanooga Tennessee. 

The home store was a wonderful place called the Royal Tiger in East Ridge owned and operated by Tim Lee.

The founding members were Joe Collins, Ray Redecker, Courtland Smythe, Tom Hammond and Tim Lee.
